This cottage is in a great location, with convenience stores and pubs nearby. The cottage itself is modern, cosy, and clean, perfect for a short stay. The kitchen is well-equipped and the shower is great. The cottage also offers excellent Wi-Fi and a large flat-screen TV. The comfortable sofas and the chest full of old-fashioned puzzles and quiz games add a nice touch.
The parking can be a bit tough to find on the street, especially during bad weather.

Had a lovely time in this cottage. Finished to a very high standard. Perfect location in a gorgeous surrounding area. Friendly hosts. Will definitely visit again. Strongly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Lakes.
Second bedroom had double beds instead of singles, making it less suitable for families. Damp smell in the bedroom, possibly due to nearby building work.

Value for money was exceptional, the room was cozy and beautifully restored, and the location was enchanting, away from the hustle of the popular Lake District tourist spots. The staff at Red Rose Cottage were friendly, accommodating, and even allowed us to store our bikes in their locked garage.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

The cottage is newly renovated, creating a cosy and contemporary atmosphere. the kitchen is well equipped, with a nice little breakfast bar. the large flat screen TV and excellent Wi-Fi provide entertainment options. the shower is excellent, and the heating keeps the cottage warm and comfortable.
The parking situation is not ideal, with no allocated parking available. parking on the main street is an option, though it can be a bit tricky due to the narrow road.
